Founder & Director
Daniel F. Sillah is the Founder and Director of St. Mary’s Home of Charity (SMHC), a Sierra Leonean humanitarian and development organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable people and creating opportunities for individuals and communities.
Inspired by his personal experiences of hardship and the impact of Sierra Leone’s civil war, Daniel is committed to promoting dignity, compassion, hope, and sustainable development. Together with his wife and Italian partners, he established SMHC to provide practical support and create opportunities for people to improve their lives.
Daniel has qualifications in Social Sciences, Communications, Business Administration, Diplomacy and International Relations, and Political Science. Through his leadership, SMHC combines humanitarian assistance with long-term community development.
