St. Mary’s Home of Charity (SMHC) is a nationally registered, faith-inspired non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children, youth, women, and marginalized communities across Sierra Leone.

Guided by Christian Catholic values and over years of community-based experience, SMHC designs and implements innovative programmes that address poverty, unemployment, education, child protection, food security, and sustainable livelihoods.

Our work empowers vulnerable people not merely through assistance, but by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, confidence, and opportunities necessary to build independent and dignified lives.
